Yoga And Class Types

Scientific research tells us that Yoga and meditation are two of the greatest healers.

Yoga and meditation have been practiced for thousands of years, but now it is more relevant to our daily lives than ever before. The modern stressors that we experience every day send our body’s functioning into overload.

Many people experience:

  • Fatigue
  • Chronic Pain
  • Insomnia
  • Digestive Issues
  • Lack of Vitality and Creativity
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Skin Issues
  • Arthritis
  • Mental Health Issues
  • Relationship Problems
  • And so much more …….

Yoga Can Help

Within a Yoga class, there are many physical factors that contribute to positive change including:

  • Calming of the nervous system
  • Stimulating of the Digestive, Lymphatic, Endocrine, Circulatory, Elimination and Respiratory System
  • Strengthening of the heart and lungs
  • Building bone mass through weight-bearing practices
  • Strengthening and lengthening major (and minor) muscle groups in the body.
  • and way more!

Also within a yoga and meditation practice, there are many energetic factors that contribute to positive change. We find that there is

  • Deepening of self-awareness
  • Greater self-confidence and self-worth
  • Reduced anxiety and depression
  • Greater sense of purpose, creativity, positivity and happiness

If you haven’t already discovered the joy of weekly yoga practice then be sure to come by and try one of our classes.  Check out our timetable here or phone us to speak with one of our yoga teachers about a suitable class for you.
